On the two days of September 10th and 11th 2020 (the 23rd and 24th of the 7th month on the Tibetan calendar), Menri Monastery host a ceremony commemorating the 3rd Anniversary of the Parinirvana of the 33rd Menri Trizin Lungtok Tenpai Nyima Rinpoche, who entered the state of Enlightenment, completing his intention and dissolving back into the sphere of reality in September 2017.

His Holiness the 34th Menri Trizin Lungtok Dawa Dhargyal, the spiritual leader of Bon tradition, leadས the ceremony and only Geshes and the monks have participated in the ceremony in the monastery in view of Covid-19 pandemic and precautionary measures.

However, all the Bonpos, students and devotees from all over the world are encouraged to commemorate the ceremony from their home by engaging in virtuous deeds by reciting prayers, burning butter lamps, donating to the charities, liberating lives, etc.
