Event Schedule of the Grand Enthronement Ceremony of His Holiness the 34th Menri Trizin Rinpoche (September 6-7, 2018)
Day 1, September 6th
| 7:00 AM | BREAKFAST |
| 7:30 AM | 1. The day will begin with incense-smoke offering and the erection of prayer flags on Lhagyal hill by all the monks and the devotees. |
| 8:30 AM | 2. The chief guests, the monks and all the people will assemble in the main temple after which His Holiness the 34th Menri Trizin will sit on the Golden Throne and mandala offerings for his long life will begin. |
| 3. His Eminence Menri Ponlob Rinpoche will read the explanation of the mandala offering and then the offerings of body, speech and mind, the five offerings, monk’s robes, seven precious jewels and eight auspicious symbols will be carried out consecutively. The devotees will be given blessings and blessed picture of His Holiness the 34th Menri Trizin will be distributed among the devotees. | |
| 12:30 PM | LUNCH |
| 2:30 PM | H.H. the 34th Menri Trizin will give the empowerment of the wisdom deity Mawei Senge followed by a public address, and the traditional ceremony will be concluded with the blessings of the empowerment. |
| 5:00 PM | Cultural Program at the playground of Bon Children Welfare Center |
| 8:00 PM | DINNER |
Day 2, September 7th
| 7:00 AM | BREAKFAST |
| 9:30 AM | All the attendants will gather in the main courtyard and His Holiness the 34th Menri Trizin Rinpoche, the chief guest and the other special guests will be welcomed and the program will start. |
